Do my bank statements ever get uploaded?

No. Every PDF, CSV, and OFX file is parsed in your browser using local libraries. The categorised data lives in your browser's IndexedDB. The only network traffic is the one-time app download on your first visit. JsenseWatch has no server that sees your financial data.

Which banks and countries does JsenseWatch support?

Anything you can export as PDF, CSV, or OFX. Day-one tuning for Singapore (DBS, POSB, OCBC, UOB, Standard Chartered, HSBC, Citi), India (most major banks), and any bank that exports the standard OFX or CSV formats. Multi-currency detection covers USD, EUR, GBP, AUD, CAD, INR, SGD.

Does it connect to my bank automatically like Mint or YNAB?

No, and that is intentional. JsenseWatch only reads files you upload yourself. There is no Plaid integration, no bank credential sharing, no third party holding your transaction feed.

How does the 14-day trial work?

On first launch, the app silently grants a 14-day trial with full Pro features. No signup, no card, no email required. After 14 days, the app reverts to the free tier. The trial is one per device.

What is the refund policy?

The 14-day free trial IS the refund window — two weeks of full-feature access before paying. Because of that, purchases are non-refundable after the trial ends.

Can I use the same licence on my phone and laptop?

A Pro licence covers one person on one machine at a time. Moving to a new machine is free — the old machine reverts to the free tier. It is not a per-seat licence; two people need two licences.

What happens if JupiterSense stops existing?

Your installed copy keeps working — the app and your statements live entirely on your device. Licence checks are lightweight validity confirmations (about weekly, with an offline grace period).

What this tool doesn't do

Better to know now than half-way through onboarding.

No bank API connections. We don't talk to your bank. You download the statement yourself (PDF/CSV/OFX) and drop it in. This is a feature, not a bug — the moment we have credentials, we are a target.
No real-time alerts, no budgeting workflows. JsenseWatch is analytical, not transactional. If you want envelopes and spend-alert pushes, use YNAB.
No cloud sync between devices. Your licence moves with you between machines, but your data does not. Use Settings → Backup & Restore to move between machines.
PDF parsing is layout-sensitive. Most banks render cleanly. If yours doesn't, send a redacted sample to support and we usually add the layout within a week. Real account numbers and balances can be blanked out before sending.
No team or seat licensing. One Pro licence covers one person on one machine at a time, with free machine moves. Two people need two licences.
