Privacy Policy | Refund Policy

1. Agreement

By downloading, installing, or using JuSenseSheet ("the Software"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use the Software. These Terms form the complete agreement between you and JupiterSense regarding the Software.

2. License Grant

JupiterSense grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to install and use JuSenseSheet on computers that you own or control. You may not:

  • Redistribute, resell, rent, or lease the Software or a Pro license key to any third party
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software beyond what applicable law expressly permits
  • Remove or alter any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notice

This license is for the individual or sole-proprietor entity who purchased the key. A Pro key activates one installation at a time.

3. Free Tier

The Free tier allows you to extract up to 50 invoices per calendar month at no charge. The counter resets automatically on the 1st of each calendar month. Counts track successfully extracted documents only — re-extractions, AI fallback retries on previously counted documents, and flagged scanned PDFs do not count against the limit.

JupiterSense reserves the right to adjust the Free tier limit with 30 days' notice published on the JuSenseSheet website.

4. Pro Tier

A Pro license key provides unlimited invoice extractions with no monthly cap. The Pro tier is a one-time purchase — there is no recurring subscription, no renewal fee, and no expiry date on your license key.

  • Pro keys cover all v3.x updates released while v3.x is the current major version
  • Future major-version upgrades (v4.x and beyond) may require a separate, discounted upgrade purchase
  • Pro keys are validated offline via HMAC — no internet connection is required to activate or use your license
  • Keys are non-refundable after 14 days from purchase, or after processing more than 200 invoices, whichever comes first

5. BYOK AI & API Key Responsibility

JuSenseSheet's AI features send document text to third-party AI providers (Anthropic Claude, OpenAI, or compatible providers) using API keys you supply. JupiterSense does not receive, store, or have access to your API keys or document data sent to these providers.

API Key Security & Costs:

  • Your API key is stored locally on your device only, encrypted with AES-256
  • We do not store, transmit, or have access to your API key at any time
  • You are solely responsible for the security of your API key — revoke it immediately if compromised
  • You are responsible for all costs incurred through your API key usage with your AI provider
  • JupiterSense is not responsible for any charges, overages, or billing disputes with your AI provider

AI Accuracy:

  • AI-powered extraction is a productivity aid, not a guarantee — AI models can misread values or return incorrect results
  • JupiterSense is not responsible for any errors or inaccuracies in AI-extracted data
  • You must always review and verify AI-extracted data before using it for accounting, tax, or legal purposes

Cross-Border Data Transfer:

When you use BYOK AI providers, document text is transmitted directly from your machine to the provider's servers, which may be located outside your jurisdiction. If you process documents containing personal data of EU/EEA residents, you are responsible for ensuring this transfer complies with the GDPR and other applicable data protection laws. JupiterSense does not act as a data processor in this flow.

6. Accuracy Disclaimer & Intended Use

Intended Use:

JuSenseSheet is designed exclusively for business financial documents — invoices, receipts, purchase orders, bills, and similar commercial records. It is a data extraction and review tool that helps bookkeepers and accounting professionals work faster.

Important: JuSenseSheet is a productivity aid, not a certified financial, legal, or medical system. Both deterministic and AI-powered extraction can produce errors. Always verify before acting on extracted data.

Prohibited Use — Sensitive Documents:

  • JuSenseSheet must NOT be used to process health records, medical documents, HIPAA-protected information, or Protected Health Information (PHI)
  • JuSenseSheet is NOT designed for classified, government-restricted, or legally privileged documents
  • JupiterSense assumes no responsibility for consequences arising from use outside the intended scope

7. Data Ownership

You own all data you create, import, or extract with JuSenseSheet. Your invoice PDFs, extracted records, and exports are stored locally on your machine. JupiterSense has no access to your data and does not collect, transmit, or process it.

8. Acceptable Use

You must be at least 18 years old to use JuSenseSheet. You agree not to:

  • Process documents you do not have lawful authority to handle
  • Extract data for purposes that violate applicable laws, including privacy laws and financial regulations
  • Use the Software in violation of any applicable export control laws, including US Export Administration Regulations (EAR)
  • Use the Software to process documents containing personal data of others without a lawful basis
  • Attempt to circumvent the free-tier extraction limit through technical means

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless JupiterSense from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of or related to:

  • Your use of the Software, including data processed through BYOK AI providers
  • Your violation of these Terms or any applicable law
  • Your processing of documents you did not have authority to handle
  • Any third-party claims resulting from data you extracted, exported, or transmitted using the Software

10. Updates and Support

JupiterSense may release updates at its discretion. Updates may be delivered through in-app notification or the website. Support is provided via email on a best-effort basis. Pro license holders receive priority responses.

11. No Warranty

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. JUPITERSENSE DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SOFTWARE WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR UNINTERRUPTED, OR THAT EXTRACTED DATA WILL BE ACCURATE.

Always verify extracted data before submitting it to accounting systems. JuSenseSheet is a productivity aid — final responsibility for accuracy rests with you.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL JUPITERSENSE BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SOFTWARE.

JUPITERSENSE'S TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SOFTWARE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

13. Termination

Your license terminates automatically if you breach these Terms. Upon termination you must stop using the Software and delete all copies. Sections 7, 9, 11, 12, and 14 survive termination.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Sirsa, Haryana, India.

15. Changes to These Terms

JupiterSense may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced via the website and, where feasible, in-app. Continued use of the Software after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
