Effective date: April 11, 2026 · JuSenseSheet v3.x · JupiterSense
On the free version we collect zero data — everything runs locally, with no telemetry, no analytics, and no phone-home. If you buy a paid licence, we use your email to send your licence key and bind the licence to your device; about once a week the app verifies the key against your device ID to prevent misuse. Either way, your documents never leave your machine. (For JuSenseSheet, if you configure a third-party AI provider, content goes directly to that service, not to us.)
When you use the free version, JupiterSense collects no personal data, usage data, or document data — no account, no login, and no email required. If you purchase a paid licence, we collect your email address (to send your licence key) and a device identifier (to bind the licence to your device and prevent misuse). That is the only personal data we hold, and we never receive your documents.
All invoice PDFs you process with JuSenseSheet are stored exclusively in your browser using IndexedDB on your device. Every PDF at rest is encrypted using AES-256-GCM via the Web Crypto API. The encryption key is generated and held in your browser's local storage; JupiterSense never sees it. No one but you can read your stored documents.
The app contains no analytics, crash-reporting SDKs, telemetry, or tracking pixels of our own. We do not know how many times you have opened the app, how many documents you have processed, or which features you use.
The one exception is our host: the site is served on Cloudflare, which provides Cloudflare Web Analytics — a privacy-first, cookieless tool that counts page views and basic performance in aggregate. It sets no cookies, does not track you across sites, and collects no personal data.
On the free version, the app makes no network requests — all processing, storage, and export happen locally and it works fully offline.
For a paid licence, the app performs a periodic online verification — about once a week — that checks your licence key against your device identifier to prevent the key being shared across devices. These checks send only the licence key and device identifier, never your documents or data, and the app works offline between them.
No other outbound traffic originates from the app. (Marketing pages on this website may load Google Fonts directly from Google, not relayed through JupiterSense.)
Paid licences are bound to a single device identifier so a single-device licence can be used on only one device. To prevent misuse, the app verifies your licence key against that device identifier about once a week, with an offline grace period in between. This verification sends only the licence key and device identifier — never your documents or data. The free version performs no licence checks.
When you export, JuSenseSheet writes a CSV or XLSX file to your browser's downloads folder, or — if you've granted folder access in a Chromium-based browser via the File System Access API — directly into a folder you've chosen. JuSenseSheet does not push exports to any external service. Importing the resulting CSV/XLSX into QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or any other accounting system is something you do manually.
JuSenseSheet is professional accounting software intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect any information from anyone under 18.
If we ever change how the app handles data (for example, adding an optional cloud sync, AI fallback, or webhook integration in a future version), we will update this policy and communicate the change prominently in-app and on this website before the change takes effect. Any such feature would be opt-in and disabled by default.
